Christmas Tree Applique Crochet

 Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum, how are you all doing? Hope good. And way much busier in decorating your homes and buying presents for your friends and family.

This is a simple, yet easy Christmas Tree applique. Hope you like it.

So let's get started friends.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

hook : 3mm 

 

Written Pattern:

 Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 15.

Step 2 : 1 Dc on the 5th ch from hook.

Step 3 : skip the next chain and do V stitch (1 DC, ch 1, 1 DC) on the next same stitch.

Step 4 : continue step 3 till end of row.

Step 5 : ch 2 & turn.

Step 6 : 2 DCs in the same ch 1 space.

Step 7 : continue doing 3 DCs in each of the ch 1 space.

Step 8 : ch 1 & turn.

Step 9 : slst till u reach the space between the 3 DCs.

Step 10 : Do V stitch.

Step 11 : continue same pattern till end of row.

Step 12 : repeat steps 5 to 11, untill you end up with 1  on top.

Step 13 : now you can add a star or make a hanging. I did a hanging part.

Step 14 : for the bark, add the brown yarn, do 1SC on 6 stitches.

Step 15 : ch 1 & turn.

Step 16 : 1 Sc on each for 4 rows.

Step 17 ; cut off yarn & sew ends.

Step 18 : Your Christmas tree applique is ready!!!!!
