Crochet Leaf Sprout

Hi friends, Assalamu alaikkum, how are you all? Hope doing good. We are good too. Many would have known that these sprout leaf crochets are turning viral. My daughter asked me to do this as a bookmark/cord tie/headphone/hairband accessory. So decided to do one. Hope you like it dears. Please support me friends.

So why delay, let's dive in.

Print this Pattern

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

hook : 3.5mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by number of 9 chains. 

Step 2 : slst on the 2nd ch from hook.

Step 3 : 1 Sc on the next ch.

Step 4 : 1 HDC on the next.

Step 5 : 1 DC each of the next 2 chains.

Step 6 : 1 HDC on the next.

Step 7 : 1 Sc in the next.

Step 8 : slst in the next. 

Step 9 : ch 1.

Step 10 : repeat steps 2 to 8 on the next side of the leaf.

Step 11 : slst in the middle till end of row.

Step 12 : chains as per your need. I did ch 63.

Step 13 : ch 9 again.

Step 14 : repeat steps 2 to11 once.

Step 15 : slst both leaves together.

Step 16 : slst the both chains together for 18 times.

Step 17 : ch 1, cut off yarn & sew ends.

Step 18 : Your bookmark/cord tie/headphone/hairband accessory is ready!!!
