Watermelon Slice Keychain Crochet

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today we will see a simple and easy keychain. This I did for my daughter. The same pattern for  Lemon slice as well for orange. 

So why delay, let's dive in.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

hook : 3mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Magic Ring.

Step 2 : R1: 8 SCs in that ring. Slst to the 1st SC.

Step 3 : R2 : Pattern: 2 SCs in each stitch till end of row. Slst at end.

Step 4 : R3 : Pattern: 2 SCs,1 SC, 2 SCs,.. till end of row. Slst at end.

Step 5 : R4 : Pattern: 2 SCs,1 SC, 1SC, 2 SCs,.. till end of row. Slst at end.

Step 6 : R5 : (White) Pattern: 2 SCs,1 SC, 1 SC, 1 Sc, 2 SCs,.. till end of row. Slst at end.

Step 7 : R6 : (Light Green) Pattern: 2 SCs,1 SC,1 SC, 1 SC, 1 Sc, 2 SCs,.. till end of row. Slst at end.

Step 8 : R7 : (Dark Green)  Pattern: 2 SCs,1 SC,1 SC, 1 SC, 1 Sc, 1 SC, 2 SCs,.. till end of row. Slst at end.

Step 9 : Sew with black yarn for seeds.

Step 10 : Bend the round in half and slst together.

Step 11 : ch 7 & slst in same space. ch 1, cut off yarn & sew ends.

Step 12 : Cute Watermelon slice keychain is ready!!!
