Mini Pumpkin Applique Crochet

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today we will see a very simple and easy applique. You can make this as garland too for Halloween. 

So why delay, let's dive in.

Print this Pattern

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

hook : 3mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Magic Ring.

Step 2 : R1:ch 1, 5 HDCs in that ring. Slst to the 1st HDC.

 

Step 3 : R2 : Pattern: 2 HDCs in each stitch till end of row. Slst at end.

 

Step 4 : R3 : ch 1 , followed by 1 HDC in the same space.

 

Step 5 : 2 DCs in the next stitch.

 

Step 6 : 1 DC in the next.

 

Step 7 : 2 DCs in the next.

 

Step 8 : 1 HDC in the next followed by 1 slst in the same.

Step 9 : 1 slst in the next followed by 1 HDC in the same.

Step 10 : 2 DCs in the next stitch.

 

Step 11 : 1 DC in the next.

 

Step 12 : 2 DCs in the next.

 

Step 13 : 1 HDC followed by 1 slst in the next same stitch.

 

Step 14 : ch 1, cut off yarn & sew ends.

 

Step 15 : For the top stem part: ch 5, slst on the 2nd ch from hook. Continue slst till end of row.

 

Step 16 : 1 slst on the next stitch.

 

Step 17 : ch 1, cut off yarn & sew ends.

 

Step 18 : Your mini applique is ready. You can make as many as you want and chain them together, as a bunting or garland.
