Banana Leaf Crochet


 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today I did a very simple and easy Banana Leaf Crochet. It is a very simple pattern, with not too much calculations around. Anyone can easily do it.

So without further delay, let's get into the project!!!

Crochet Terminology:
sl st - slip stitch 
sc- single crochet 
dc- double crochet 
tr- treble crochet 
hdc- half double crochet
ch- chain
 
hook : 3.5mm

Things needed:

1. Yarn
2.Darning Needle
3.Scissors

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 12. 
 
Step 2 : R 1 : 1 DC on the 3rd ch from hook. 1 DC in the next 4 chs.
 
Step 3 : 2 DCs in the next same ch .

Step 4 : 1 dc in the remaining 5 chs

Step 5 : ch 2 & turn.

Step 6 : R 2 : 1 DC in each st, mid part 2 Dcs in each, 1 dc in each remaining sts.

Step 7 :R 3 - R 5 : 1 dc in each, for mid(1 dc, 2 dcs, 2 dcs, 1 dc) , 1 dc in the remaining.

Step 8 : R 6 - R 15 : skip 1 stitch, 1 Dc in the next st, continue 1 dc in each till the mid st, for mid(1 dc, 2 dcs, 2 dcs, 1 dc) , 1 dc in each except the last 2 sts, dc2tog.

Step 9 : R16 : 1 Dc in each of the 5 sts, 1 hdc in the 4 sts, 1 Sc in the 4 sts, slst in the mid sts, 1 sc in the 3 sts, 1 hdc in the 4 sts, 1 dc in the next 4 sts, dc2tog.

Step 10 : ch 1, cut off and sew ends. You can add cuttings in the sides, with chs and skip them. 
 
Step 11 : You can increase / decrease rows as per your wish.

Step 12 : Your banana leaf crochet is ready!!!
