Mango Leaf Crochet

 


Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. As its festive season, Pongal, many will decorate their homes with mango leaves. So I thought to make a video on the mango leaf, which is a last minute idea and easy version too. you can increase the size if you want.

So without further delay, let's get into the project!!!

Crochet Terminology:
sl st - slip stitch 
sc- single crochet 
dc- double crochet 
tr- treble crochet 
hdc- half double crochet
ch- chain
 
hook : 3.5mm

Things needed:

1. Yarn
2.Darning Needle
3.Scissors

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 25.
 
Step 2 : 1 sc on the 2nd ch from hook.
 
Step 3 :  1 slst on each of the next 2 chains.

Step 4 : ch 1.

Step 5 : 1 hdc on each of the next 2 chains.

Step 6 : 1 dc on each of the next 2 chains.

Step 7 : 1 tr in each of the next 10 chains.

Step 8 : 1 dc in each of the 3 chains.

Step 9 : 1 hdc in each of the 3 chains.

Step 10 : 1 sc in the last chain.

Step 11 : ch 4. 1 slst on the 2nd ch from hook.

Step 12 : 1 slst on each of the next 2 chains.

Step 13 : repeat steps 10 to 4 once.

Step 14 : slst to the next st.

Step 15 : ch 1, cut off yarn & sew ends.

Step 16 : Add marigold.

Step 17 : Ready for thoran making!!!
