Malaysia Flag crochet

 Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Hope you all are doing good. As you all know, I like doing flag crochets, and many of my flag patterns turned to be the 1st published on Youtube for example, Saudi, South Africa, etc. I am proud of myself for doing this. This Malaysia flag was a requested video. It took little delay as I had some personal commitments. So I would like to ask apology to this friend. Sorry dear. Anyways I need to thank her for choosing me & hope she likes my work.

So without further delay let's get into the project.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

Things needed:

1. Yarns

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

hook : 

3 mm & 2 mm

 

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : White : Slipknot, followed by ch 34.

Step 2 : R1-2 : 1 Sc on each stitch .

Step 3 : R3-4 : 1 Sc on each stitch with red.

Step 4 : R5-6 : step 2

Step 5 : R7-8 : step 3

Step 6 : R9-10 : step 2

Step 7 : R11-12 : step 3

Step 8 : R13-14: step 2

Step 9 : R15-16 : step 3

Step 10 : R17-18: step 2

Step 11 : R19-20: step 3

Step 12 : R21-22 : step 2

Step 13 : R23-24: step 3

Step 14 : R25-26 : step 2

Step 15 : R27-28 : step 3

Step 16 : ch 1, cut off & sew ends.

Step 17 : Make the blue patch . Slipknot, followed by ch 16.

Step 18 : R1-R16 : 1 Sc on each stitch till end of row.

Step 19 : step 16.

Step 20 : Make the 14 pointed star.

Step 21 : Magic ring, (R1)followed by 7 Scs in that ring.slst to the 1st Sc.

Step 22 :  R2-3: 2 Scs on each stitch till end of row.slst to the 1st Sc.

Step 23: R4 : ch 3, 1 slst on the 2nd & 3rd chs, slst on each of the next to stitches.

Step 24 : Repeat till end of row.

Step 25 : cut off & sew ends.

Step 26 : Make the crescent, ch 26 .

Step 27 : 1 slst on the 2nd & 3 rd ch.

Step 28 : 2 Sc on the next ch, 1 Sc on the next ch

Step 29 : repeat step 28 except the last 3 chs.

Step 30 :1 slst on each of the last 3 chs.

Step 31 : ch 1, cut off & sew ends.

Step 32 : Sew / Glue them together.

Step 33 : Malaysia flag is ready!!!!
