Crochet Wall Hanging Shelf


 Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Hope you all are doing good. This wall hanging, mostly many would have seen as a macrame art. But I wanted to crochet. It took quite a long time. But seriously I just love the output, as it's handmade by the way!!!! 

So without further delay let's get into the project.

 

Crochet Terminology:


sl st - slip stitch 
sc- single crochet 
dc- double crochet 
tr- treble crochet 
hdc- half double crochet
ch- chain
 

Things needed:


1. Yarns

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

4. Dowel

5. Beads

6. Wood base


hook : 
3.5 mm
 
Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 4.

Step 2 : slst to the 1st chain to form a loop.

Step 3 : R1: 16 Dcs in that loop. slst to the 1st Dc.

Step 4 : R2: 1 puff stitch, ch 1 on each stitch. Slst to the 1st puff stitch.

Step 5 : R3: 4 dc Cluster crochet, ch 2 on each ch 1 space. slst.

Step 6 : R4: 5 dc Cluster crochet, ch 3 on each ch 2 space. Slst.

Step 7 : R5: (3trs, ch 3 , 3 trs)* for corner. Then follow this order for a side(3 trs, 3 dcs, 3 hdcs, 3 dcs, 3 trs).

Step 8 : Do 1 SC on each stitch on the for 3 rows on the top & 8rows of Scs on the bottom. Add hangings on each stitch. Slst to the dowel.

Step 9 : for the 4 holes on wood base do 4 sets of 2 color cord & slst to the dowel. Add bead at the bottom and make a knot. 

Step 10 : slst on one side of the dowel and ch 53 and slst to the other side.

Step 11 : sew all the ends.

Step 12 : Wall hanging shelf is ready!!!
