Fridge/oven cover crochet


 Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. I started this project for my own purpose. First take measurements, and then start the project. This cover is very useful.

So without further delay let's get into the project.

 

Crochet Terminology:


sl st - slip stitch 
sc- single crochet 
dc- double crochet 
tr- treble crochet 
hdc- half double crochet
ch- chain
 

Things needed:


1. Yarns

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors


Hook : 
4.5mm

Written Pattern:
Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 72+2 chs.
Step 2 : R1 : 1 Dc on the 3rd ch from hook. 1 Dc on each stitch till end of row.
Step 3 : R2 : ch 1 & turn.
Step 4 : 1 Sc, skip 2 sts, ch 2, 1 Sc, skip 2 sts, ch 2,.. till end of row.
Step 5 : R3 : ch 2 & turn.
Step 6 : 3 Dcs on each of the ch 2 space.
Step 7 : Repeat steps 3 to 6 for number of rows needed. I did for a total of 35 inches.
Step 8 : Do the pocket sides too.
Step 9 : Do ch 3 picot for pocket edging.
Step 10 : Sew divisions for pockets.
Step 11 : Add edging for the whole: 1 Sc, skip 2 sts, 5 Dcs, skip 2 sts, 1 Sc. Repeat.
Step 12 : ch 1, cut off & sew ends.
Step 13 : Your cover is ready!!!!
