Hot Air Balloon Crochet

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. How are you all? Hope doing good my buddies. I made a hot air balloon, after seeing it viral on youtube. The rows might be little confusing. But have patience and follow the full pattern. The end result would be awesome. Hope you like it too.

So without further delay let's get into the project.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

Things needed:

1. Yarns

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

4. Stitch Markers

Hook : 

3mm & 2mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 4.

Step 2 : Slst to the 1st ch to form a loop.

Step 3 : R1: (1 Dc, ch 1)* 10 times. slst to the 1st Dc.

Step 4 : R2: ((1 Dc, ch 2)* on each ch1 space)* 10 times. Slst to the 1st Dc.

Step 5 : R3: ((2 Dcs, ch 2)* on each ch2 space)* 10 times. Slst to the 1st Dc.

Step 6 : R4: ((2 Dcs, ch 3)* on each ch2 space)* 10 times. Slst to the 1st Dc.

Step 7 : R5: ((3 Dcs, ch 2)* on each ch3 space)* 10 times. Slst to the 1st Dc.

Step 8 : R6: ((3 Dcs, ch 3)* on each ch2 space)* 10 times. Slst to the 1st Dc.

Step 9 : R7: ((2 Dcs, ch 2)* on each ch3 space)* 10 times. Slst to the 1st Dc.

Step 10 : R8: ((2 Dcs, ch 1)* on each ch2 space)* 10 times. Slst to the 1st Dc.

Step 11 : R9 : slst on each stitch.

Step 12 : ch 1, cut off & sew ends.

Step 13 : Basket: Slipknot, followed by ch 4.

Step 14 : R1: 10 Dcs.

Step 15 : R2: 2 Dcs on each. Tot 20 Dcs.

Step 16 : R3: 1 Dc in each in a basket base way.

Step 17 : R4-5: 1 Dc on each. Total 20 Dcs.

Step 18 : R6: (1 Sc, ch 1)* in each stitch till end of row.

Step 19 : ch 1, cut off & sew ends.

Step 20 : make ch 3 to attach the top part with basket on 4 sides.

Step 21 : Your hot air balloon is ready!!!!
