Welcome Board Crochet

 Hi friends assalamu alaikkum. This is my favorite work. I was doing this for around 6 months. I made this for my home and got more appreciations. This welcome board has letters in English & Arabic. The playlist for alphabet is available in our channel. Hope you like it too.

So without further delay let's get into the project.

Print this Pattern

 

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

Things needed:

1. Yarns

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

4. Stitch Markers

Hook : 

4.5mm, 3mm & 2mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 54. This is Moss/Linen stitch. So do even number of chains.

Step 2 : (Sc on the 2nd ch from hook. ch1, skp 1 ch), repeat pattern

Step 3 : ch 1 & turn for next row. 

Step 4 : 1 Sc on each of the ch 1 space followed by ch 1. 1 Sc on the last stitch.

Step 5 : repeat step 4 & 5 as long as you need. I did 35 rows.

Step 6 : Added slst & ch 1 edging as a border.

Step 7 : Made the Arabic & English alphabet, stuck on a paper & cut it. Pasted it.

Step 8 : attached a cardboard at back.

Step 9 : Add a protective plastic cover on top to avoid dust.

Step 10 : Your beautiful welcome board is ready!!!!
