Crochet Bottle Cover

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today we will see a beautiful bottle cover crochet. Its really easy to crochet and its funtime too.

Crochet Terminology:

ch- chain

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

hdc- half double crochet

slst- slip stitch

hook: 4mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by chains 3. 

Step 2 : slst to the 1st chain to form a circle.

Step 3 : ch 2 , considered as 1st Dc.

Step 4 : Do 9 more Dcs in that mid part. Total 10 Dcs.

Step 5 : slst to the 2nd chain of the 1st 2 chains.

Step 6 : Pattern : 2 Dcs in each stitch. End the row with a slst.

Step 7 : Pattern : 1 Dc, 2 DCs, 1 Dc,... till end of row. End with a slst.

Step 8 : This base part for perfect.

Step 9 : ch 2, followed by 1 Dc in that same space.

Step 10 : continue doing 1 Dc in the back loop of each stitch.

Step 11 :  slst to the 1st DC, skipping the chain 2, at the end of each row.

Step 12 :Pattern : ch 2, followed by 1 DC, continue doing 1 DC in each stitch. Slst to the 1st DC, skipping the chain 2.

Step 13 : Repeat step 12 , for the no. of rows needed. I did 14 rows.

Step 14 : do a backward slst in each stitch. End with a slst at end..

Step 15 : Now the cap part. ch 1, followed by 1 SC in the same space.

Step 16 : 1 Sc on the next 6 stitches.

Step 17 : Continue doing chains till u can reach the other end.

Step 18 : slst to the 1st Sc.

Step 19 :  ch 2, followed by 1 Dc in the same space. slst at end, skipping the ch 2.

Step 20 : Repeat step 19, once.

Step 21 : As now it turns narrow, pattern will change.

Step 22 : Pattern :1 Dc, 1 Dc, DC2Tog,... continue till end. slst at the end.

Step 23 : Pattern : 1 Dc, Dc2Tog,... continue till end. slst at end.

Step 24 : Do 1 DC in each stitch for 2 rows.

Step 24 : ch 1, 1 Sc in the same space. SC2Tog in each stitch.

Step 25 : slst at end.

Step 26 : SC2Tog until the space closes.

Step 26 : ch 1, cut off yarn & sew.

Step 27 : If you wish can add chains to hold too. Now i will be doing the button part. If you need can add zip too.

Step 28 : slst on the bottom side of the cap part.

Step 29 : When you reach half way, chain as u need for a closing part.

Step 30 : Add button, on the body part.

Step 31 : When you have done step 29, slst to the cap part and continue till the row ends.

Step 32 : Chain 1, cut off yarn & sew.

Step 33 : Can add straps on side, if you want, for holding.

Step 34 : Your bottle holder is ready. You can make such for normal bottle too.
