Holy Kaaba Crochet

 

 Hi friends, Assalamu alaikkum. Hope you all are doing good. Today we will see a very lovely project, Holy Kaaba. It's very close to my heart. I enjoyed doing this project. Hope you too can feel the happiness in doing it. 

Crochet Terminology:

ch- chain

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

hdc- half double crochet

slst- slip stitch

hook: 5mm & 3mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : (hook : 5mm)Slipknot, followed by chain 3.

Step 2 : slst to the 1st chain to form a loop.

Step 3 : chain 2, considered as 1st DC.

Step 4 ; Pattern: (3DCs, chain 1)* 4 times.

Step 5 : slst to the 1st.

Step 6 : Pattern : 1 Dc on each. When you reach the chain 1 space, do 1 Dc, chain 2, 1 DC.

Step 7 : slst to the 1st.

Step 8 : chain 2.

Step 9 : Pattern : 1 Dc on each of the back. when you reach the chain 2 space, do DC2Tog in the 2 chains.

Step 10 : slst at end.

Step 11 : chain 2.

Step 12 ; 1 Dc on each of the both loops, till the number of rows needed. I did 6 rows.

Step 13 : I kept cardboards on all four sides, to give a shape.

Step 14 : Add toy stuffing too.

Step 15 : 1 HDC on the back loop. When you reach the corner, do HDC2Tog.

Step 16 : Repeat step 15 till end of row.

Step 17 : Continue doing HDC2Tog till it completely gets closed.

Step 18 : chain 1, cut of yarn & sew.

Step 19 : (hook:2 mm)The belt part. slipknot, followed by chain as many you need to cover.

Step 20 : 1 Sc on the 2nd chain from hook, continue doing 1 SC on each chain.

Step 21 ; chain 1, cut off yarn & sew. Sew it around the Kaaba.

Step 22 : (hook:1.5mm) The rectangular part: slipknot, followed by chain 5.

Step 23 : 1 Sc on the 2nd chain from hook. Continue doing 1 Sc on each.

Step 24 : Chain 1, cut off yarn & sew. Sew it in alternative positions under the belt part.

Step 25 :  The circle part : Magic ring, followed by 3 Scs in that circle, pul the tail end.

Step 26 : slst to the 1st, cut of yarn & sew in the positions between the rectangle parts below the belt.

Step 27 : Door cover ; slipknot, followed by chain 13.

Step 28 : 1 Sc on the 2nd chain from hook. Continue doing 1 Sc on each chain.

Step 29 : chain 1 & turn.

Step 30 : 1 Sc on each stitch.

Step 31 : Repeat steps 28 & 29, for a total of 4 rows. chain 1, cut off yarn & sew.

Step 32 : Sew it on Kaaba.

Step 33 : MashaAllah!!! Your beautiful Kaaba is ready!!!! You can give as a present or make it as a home decor.
