Mini Muslim Prayer Mat Crochet

 

Assalamu alaikkum dears. How are you all? Hope you are doing good. Today we will see a very simple and easy mini musalla (muslim prayer mat) crochet. You can make big as you want.

Crochet Terminology:

ch- chain

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

hdc- half double crochet

slst- slip stitch

hook: 4mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by chains 15.

Step 2 : 1 SC on the 2nd chain from hook.

Step 3 : Continue doing 1 SC in each till end of row. Do 1 more row of 1 Sc in each till end of row.

Step 4 : chain 1 & turn. from now on we will be interchanging colors.

Step 5 : 1 SC on each of the 2 stitches, with a change in 2nd SC.

Step 6 : now 10 Scs of peach yarn, with a change in 10th Sc.

Step 7 : 1 SC in the remaining 2 stitches.

Step 8 : Repeat steps 4 to 7 one more time.

Step 9 : ch 1 & turn.

Step 10 : 1 SC on each of the 2 stitches, with a change in 2nd SC.

Step 11 : 1 Sc on the next 2 stitches with peach yarn, with a change in 2nd Sc.

Step 12 : 1 Sc in the next 6  stitches, with green yarn, with the change in 6th SC.

Step 13 : 1 Sc on the next 2 stitches with peach yarn, with a change in 2nd SC.

Step 14 :  1 SC on each of the 2 stitches in green yarn.

Step 15 : repeat steps 9 to 14 one more time time.

Step 16 : Repeat steps 9 to15, 9 more times.

Step 17 :  ch 1 & turn. 1 Sc on each of the next 3 stitches, with a change in 3rd SC.

Step 18 : 1 Sc on the next 2 stitches, with a change in 2nd SC.

Step 19 : 1 Sc on the next 4 stitches, with a change in 4th Sc.

Step 20 : 1 Sc on each of the next 2 stitches, with a change in 2nd SC.

Step 21 : 1 Sc on the next 3 stitches.

Step 22 : Repeat steps 17 to 21 , one more time.

Step 23 : ch 1 & turn. 1 Sc on each of the next 4 stitches, with a change in 4th SC.

Step 24 : 1 Sc on the next 2 stitches, with a change in 2nd SC.

Step 25 : 1 Sc on the next 3 stitches, with a change in 3rd Sc.

Step 26 : 1 Sc on each of the next 2 stitches, with a change in 2nd SC.

Step 27 : 1 Sc on the next 4 stitches.

Step 28 : Repeat steps 23 to 27 , one more time.

Step 29 :  ch 1 & turn. 1 Sc on each of the next 5 stitches, with a change in 5th SC.

Step 30 : 1 Sc on the next 4 stitches, with a change in 4th SC.

Step 31 : 1 Sc on the next 5 stitches.

Step 32 : Repeat steps 29 to 31 , one more time.

Step 35 :  ch 1 & turn. 1 Sc on each of the next 6 stitches, with a change in 6th SC.

Step 36 : 1 Sc on the next 2 stitches, with a change in 2nd SC.

Step 37 : 1 Sc on the next 6 stitches.

Step 38 : Repeat steps 35 to 37 , one more time.

Step 39 : ch 1 & turn. 1 Sc in each stitch till end of row.

Step 40 : Repeat step 29 one more time.

Step 41 : ch 1, cut off yarn & sew.

Step 42 : Add the border hangings, and comb it.

Step 43 : If you want , sew a cloth behind.

Step 44 : Your mini Musalla (Prayer Mat) is ready !!!
