Shell Coin purse

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today we will see a very simple and easy gift/return gift crochet ideas. It's a simple shell coin purse crochet. Let's start the project dearies....

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

hook : 3.5mm

Written Pattern:

 Step 1 : Magic Ring, (R 1)followed by 6 SCs in that ring.

Step 2 : R 2 : Patt: 2 SCs in each stitch.

Step 3 : R 3 : Patt : 1 SC, 2 SCs,1 Sc,... till end of row. Slst at the end.

Step 4 : R 4 : Patt : 1 SC, 1 SC,  2 SCs,1 Sc,... till end of row. Slst at the end.

Step 5 : R 5 :Patt : 1 SC,1 Sc, 1 Sc,  2 SCs,1 Sc,... till end of row. Slst at the end.

Step 6 : R 6 : Patt : 1 SC,1 Sc, 1 SC,  1 SC, 2 SCs,1 Sc,... till end of row. Slst at the end.

Step 7 :  Ch 1, cut off yarn & sew ends.

Step 8 : Repeat steps 1 to 6 one more time.

Step 9 : ch 10.

Step 10 : slst to the other piece with the wrong side facing together.

Step 11 : 1 Sc on the 2nd chain from hook till end of row.

Step 12 : slst.

Step 13 : continue doing 1 Sc on each of the back loop of each chains, till u reach the purse formation.

Step 14 : ch 1 , cut off yarn & sew ends.

Step 15 : Now the flap part. ch 10. 1 Sc on the 2nd chain from hook.

Step 16 : In the last chain do 3 Scs.

Step 17 : Continue doing 1 Sc on each of the other side of the chains.

Step 18 : ch 1 & turn. Do increase only in the 3 Scs in the first row.

Step 19 : R 2 : 2 Scs in each of the 3 stitches. Remaining 1 Sc in each.

Step 20 : R 3 : (2 Scs, 1 Sc ) * 3 times.Remaining 1 SC in each.

Step 21 : R 4 : (2 Scs, 1 Sc, 1 Sc)* 3 times.Remaining 1 SC in each.

Step 22 : To level it, do 1 Sc on each.

Step 23 : slst with the front loop of flap and the back loop of the bottom part of purse.

Step 24 : ch 1, cut off yarn & sew.

Step 25 : Add buttons and sew them. 

Step 26 : If u want can add handle part.

Step 27 : Now your gift is ready !!!!
