Tamil Alphabet இ Crochet

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today is the continuation of Tamil series, which is alphabet இ. This took quite a little time, as it was Ramadan and had lots of work. So here I am. Hope you find it easy . Use the same stitches I did, and you will surely love the end result.

Now let's start the project! 

For this project , the yarn & hook size are your preference. The bigger hook, bigger the size. I am using the normal size hook, which is 4 mm.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

Hook : 4mm

Things needed:

1. Yarn

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

4. Sewing thread

5. Needle

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by 77 chains.

Step 2 : skip 1 chain.

Step 3 : Sc5Tog

Step 4 : 1 Sc in the next ch.

Step 5 : Sc5Tog

Step 6 : 1 Sc in the next 2 chains.

Step 7 : Sc2Tog

Step 8 : Sc2Tog

Step 9 : 1 Sc in the next 6 chains.

Step 10 : Sc2Tog

Step 11 : 1 Sc in each of the next 4 chains .

Step 12 : Sc2Tog

Step 13 : Sc2Tog

Step 14 : 1 Sc in each of 8 chains

Step 15 : Sc2Tog

Step 16 : Sc2Tog

Step 17 : 1 Sc in each of the 16 chains.

Step 18 : Sc2Tog

Step 19 : Sc2Tog

Step 20 : 1 Sc in each of the next 3 chains.

Step 21 : Sc2Tog 

Step 22 : Sc2Tog

Step 23 : 1 Sc in each of the 6 chains.

Step 24 : ch 1, cut off & sew ends.

Step 25 : Sew the shape of letter.

Step 26 : Your letter is ready!!!
