Tamil alphabet ஈ crochet

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today is the continuation of Tamil series, which is alphabet ஈ. This took quite a little time, as it was Ramadan and had lots of work. So here I am. Hope you find it easy . Use the same stitches I did, and you will surely love the end result.

Now let's start the project! 

For this project , the yarn & hook size are your preference. The bigger hook, bigger the size. I am using the normal size hook, which is 4 mm.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

Hook : 4mm & 3 mm for dots

Things needed:

1. Yarn

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by 24 chains.

Step 2 : 1 Sc on the 2nd ch from hook.

Step 3 : 1 Sc on each of the remaining 9 chs.

Step 4 : Sc3Tog

Step 5 : slst on the next ch.

Step 6 : 1 Sc on each of the next 4 chs.

Step 7 : 11 chs

Step 8 : 1 Sc on the 2nd ch from hook.

Step 9 : 1 Sc on each of the remaining 9 chs.

Step 10 : 1 Sc in the middle of the previous Sc.

Step 11 : 1 Sc in each of the remaining chs.

Step 12 : cut off & sew ends.

Step 13 : Dots : Magic ring, followed by 5 Scs in that ring.

Step 14 : slst to the 1st Sc.

Step 15 : cut off & sew ends.

Step 16 : Repeat steps 13 to 15 once.

Step 17 : Alphabet ஈ is ready!!!
